Yves Douma has written an inspiring account of what the world could be like in 2048, in a time when the Simpol- Simultaneous Policy Campaign- has been adopted globally and we are working collaboratively across this planet to solve the issues which threaten us.
Yves's story describes a time when "humankind has escaped the clutches of climate change". It describes nations cooperating effectively and with the shared understanding that the problems facing them can only be solved by joint effort and that no one nation can defeat the climate crisis, or any other global threat, on its own.
The story is fictional and futuristic but the work we need to begin today is very real. Please read this tale of hope and then sign on and pledge to make this a 2048 reality.
Read it here and judge for yourself, surely this is the future you want for your children and grandchildren.

Theory U is about making decisions based on what is best for the whole system, this is Simpol Policy- for the benefit of all nations simulatneously so for the future of each nation.
Our work begins on February 20th and we will keep you posted here on the progress of the program.
Where does Simpol fit in the story of human evolution? Prestigious economics blog, Evonomics, has published a great interview of authors John Bunzl and Nick Duffell by evolutionary biologist David Sloan Wilson about their new book The Simpol Solution.
Read it here.
David Sloan Wilson endorses Simpol
Renowned evolutionary biologist David Sloan Wilson has endorsed "The Simpol Solution": "It's a pleasure to read a book that captures the modern evolutionary worldview so well and your actual solution is very clever. We even share an awareness of the need for a psychological therapeutic process and a global policymaking process." Sloan Wilson is President of the Evolution Institute.
Simpol gains new Australian MPs
Thanks to Australian citizens signing on to the campaign, we now have 4 MPs pledged to implement Simpol alongside other governments following the 2019 Federal election.
First Brexit, now Trump. It's happening because, as Simpol's founder John Bunzl explains in this new HuffPost article, we are still not taking globalisation seriously. But can the more protectionist world offered by populist politicians be a real alternative?
Game theory specialist, David K. Levine, John H. Biggs Distinguished Professor of Economics at Washington University, St. Louis, USA, has endorsed the Simpol campaign.
"Democratic institutions are the best that we have - but have many deficiencies. One is that the focus on local problems can lead to "beggar thy neighbor" policies. We may hope that transnational political organization can help overcome this - and Simpol is a creative ground-up effort to make this happen."
Advisor, mentor, futurist and writer on matters of social and organizational change, John Renesch has joined Simpol's Advisory Board. John is passionate about the role commerce can play in bringing about a global shift of human consciousness, thus creating a future of tremendous possibility for humankind – the possibility that will allow humanity to transcend the inevitable future that can be projected from current trends.
Ken Wilber, prominent author, philosopher and founder of Integral Theory has kindly agreed to join Simpol's Advisory Board. Describing Simpol as "a 2nd-tier political practice that makes a great deal of sense, and is certainly worth backing", Ken has long advocated some form of binding global governance as a solution to global problems.
There are no up-coming national Simpol events currently confirmed.
